  1. I want to take the night train from Vienna to Paris, however would I be able to stop at stations such as Munich and Salzburg for sightseeing and take the train again to Paris without buying a different ticket?

  2. I would like to book the train on 2.7. 0:12 from Munich East to Paris.
Unfortunately, this is not possible at any of the specified sales outlets, but it is possible from Vienna.
Is this a system error or intentional?

    Many greetings

    1. Hello.
There is construction work along the route in the Austria/Germany area.
The Nightjet can only be booked if ÖBB is absolutely sure that it can run on said date.
If it is not, the train has not yet been released for booking. You have to check again and again at short notice. Not ideal, but unfortunately that's the way it is.
At best, you can ask ÖBB directly about your travel date.
      Many greetings, Peter

Why is it not possible to book a Nightjet to Paris for May 2023 either online or at the ticket office?

    1. Hello.
On which day would you like to travel?
THE nightjet Vienna to Paris only departs from Vienna on Monday, Thursday and Saturday.
      Many greetings, Peter 🙂

Good morning, I would like to board the Nightjet Vienna - Paris in Rosenheim and book a couchette. is this possible?

    1. Good morning.
Yes, this is possible and absolutely no problem.
Departure from Rosenheim is at 23:27, so it's still quite pleasant to have a relaxed sleep. On the platform you will find a carriage indicator with a carriage number, which makes boarding easier. Your train ticket has your carriage number and compartment number printed on it. So you simply wait at the appropriate section of the platform.
In Rosenheim itself, there is then also not much going on at boarding. Therefore, it is relaxed and a train employee will check your ticket and help you.
Simply buy the ticket via the purchase links above.
Have a good trip and a great time in Paris, Peter F. 🙂

    1. Good morning Mr Holzer.
A preview of the carriage line-up can be found here at Vagonweb: https://www.vagonweb.cz/razeni/vlak.php?zeme=OeBB&kategorie=NJ&cislo=468&nazev=&rok=2022
You can scroll to the right and find the seating, couchette and sleeping cars.
At St. Pölten station you have the "carriage status indicator" in classic paper form (which shows the same thing as the link above). On the platform itself, before the train arrives, you can see on the display where which carriage will arrive.
For safety's sake: if you are standing absolutely wrong, board the train anyway. You can walk through the train and thus not miss the departure.
I wish you a safe journey. Peter F.
