There are always connections to and from the Stockholm ferries. The railway station at the harbour is actually just a platform that you can reach directly from the harbour terminal. From the harbour you can travel to Turku Central Station. There you have enough time to change to your reserved compartment.

By hire car from Rovaniemi to Nordkapp
In Rovaniemi you can enjoy a Car hire Rent a car. There are several providers - we recommend a provider that offers insurance without an excess for damage to the vehicle.
The journey time by car from Rovaniemi to Nordkapp is 10 hours. However, on this beautiful route you can, for example, stop in Inari for a stopover with overnight stay insert.
My favourite route is from Rovaniemi on the E75 north to Inari. From there westwards on the 92 and then northwards on the E6 in Norway.
By bus from Rovaniemi to Nordkapp
There is a daily bus connection from Rovaniemi to Nordkapp. The journey takes 12 hours. The bus ticket costs approx. 125 EUR.
There are two different bus routes. The most scenic route leads from Rovaniemi to Karasjok. Continue to Olderfjord and finally to Honningsvåg.
In Honningsvåg (the village at Nordkapp), you can either book private tours or take the local tourist bus 406. This offers a daily round trip to the actual Nordkapp. The journey takes three hours. The price is 120 EUR including admission to Nordkapp.

By bus and train from the North Cape via Narvik to Stockholm
The return journey from Nordkapp to the south is by bus and train to Stockholm. From the Nordkapp (Honningsvåg) by bus to Narvik. The journey takes about 10 hours. The bus ticket costs approx. 65 EUR. In Narvik there is a direct Night train to Stockholm.

If you calculate honestly, you should also take into account the journey from the airport to the city centre. With the night train, you need one less hotel night. What's more, the environmental impact of flying is priceless.
Flight from Turku to Rovaniemi
Of course, you can also cover the distance from Turku to Rovaniemi by plane. But that's no fun and takes a long time. There are no direct flights between the two cities, so you have to change planes at least once, usually twice. Then there's the journey from Turku city centre to the airport. The same applies to Rovaniemi, from the airport (which is very close to Father Christmas Village) back to the city centre. Arrive on time, check in etc.
That is of course not sustainableto take a quick flight on a subsidised plane. Everyone has to decide for themselves where they want to start doing something for planet Earth. And on this route, from Turku to Rovaniemi, it's quite simple.
