The ÖBB video gives a first impression. I will add photos as soon as I have travelled in the new Nightjet myself 🙂

Sustainable is, of course, not to sit in a subsidised plane for a short time. Everyone has to decide for themselves at what point they start doing something for Planet Earth. And on this route, from Hamburg to Vienna, it's really easy.
On the night train you save transfers and waiting times. In addition, a Night at the hotelwhich is not really cheap in both cities. It is simply a relaxed shape to travel. Definitely more relaxed and communicative than in a tightly squeezed plane.

Hello!
Do you know how punctual the night trains usually are? I want to travel from Regensburg to Hamburg and from there on to Denmark. With the ÖBB Nightjet I would have a 9 min changeover time in Hamburg. Is that realistic?
Greetings
Susann
Hello Susann.
I wouldn't rely on the 9 minutes - besides, you change trains with the nightjet NJ490 in Hamburg Hbf. That means going up the escalator/steps from the platform (track 8), over to track 11 and down the escalator/steps again. With luggage, lots of people in the morning traffic. Difficult.
I would take a later connection to Denmark. Important: book early. The connections from Germany to Denmark are quite limited in capacity and booked up quickly.
Many greetings, Peter 🙂
Good afternoon I would like to request a non-binding offer for a journey from Göttingen to Vienna by night train. Outward journey on 20.03.2023 Return journey on 25.03.2023 in a 2-person sleeping compartment.
Thank you
mfg T.Wolfram
Good day.
In the "2-person sleeping compartment" means TWO passengers, or that you want to share a compartment with a stranger?
Departure from Göttingen is at 22:59, arrival in Vienna at 09:14.
For the outward journey, there are only 3-person compartments in the sleeping car. Here, a "private couchette compartment" may be an option.
Departure Vienna at 20:11, arrival Göttingen at 05:51.
The sleeping car is already fully booked. There are no more private compartments in the couchette car.
This is often the case at the moment, as the night trains are in great demand and are booked up relatively quickly.
Unfortunately, I can't really help you with that. You can find prices and details on the ÖBB booking page,
Many greetings.
